I read this for an online book club. Even with my lowered standards for a cheesy Christmas romance book it was pretty bad.

Sometimes you need a fake fiancé to realize true love;)
Penny and Wes have worked for their fathers, but now the time has come and the two companies are merging. But for that to happen the two of them need to get married otherwise the merger will fall through. The deadline is Christmas Eve at midnight. The only problem is, that they do not want to get married. Or at least that is what they say now.
This was a great shot novella to finish off my year. It is very fast-paced and if you love the fake dating/fake marriage trope this is perfect. I had to hold myself off on finishing it last night. But it is a one-sitting kind of book. Wes and Penny are just great!

This book was so fast paced, to the point where I was confused on how we got to the conclusion, but I still loved it. Wes and Penny were great and adorable, I love fake dating.

This was such a ridiculous yet pleasant read. The ridiculous part is the fact that Penny & Wes have to get married for the merger of their companies will not go ahead - all arranged by their fathers, who have just abandoned them. I liked the format of the first chapter, with Penny & Wes emailing each other. Seeing their growing panic as the months countdown to the contractual deadline did make me laugh. I thought the romance between Penny & Wes was sweet. They had very different personalities, so it was entertaining seeing how they each dealt with this situation.
