I first read this forty years ago - yikes - but have to say that I enjoyed it just as much the second time. A stone cold 70's classic.

Really enjoyed this one.  Older teen for sure; there are more than one sex scenes with ample descriptions.  Plenty of violence, but that goes with the plot.

Wayyyyy boring. Too focused on every minute detail of the Jackal prepping for this assassination. Took a lot of the mystery out of it and made him a not very compelling character.

One of those books that's like nothing I've ever read before or since. Cuts all the cool gadgets and exotic locales from a traditional spy thriller to focus exclusively on tradecraft, which is so much more compelling. If you read this you'll wonder why every thriller ever written isn't like this.
