I lost my first goodreads account so I wasn’t sure whether I read/watched his books/adaptations, but there is something very nostalgic about reading a Nicholas Sparks book now. This book gave me all that feels - I was sad, then giddy and smiling, and then the next thing I knew, I was crying. I love it. What a rollercoaster of emotions.

The twist was obvious and this is definitely not my favorite Nicholas Sparks book, but I did like most of the characters and enjoyed the story of Maggie’s teenage years.

I am not okay…
What an emotional rollercoaster! Classic Nicholas Sparks, but better. You’ll fall in love with the characters and your heart will break in a million pieces, but then somehow mend itself back together in the end. Highly recommend, but prepare for the crying fest!
