"Is there any point to which you would wish to draw my attention?"
"To the curious incident of the dog in the night-time."
"The dog did nothing in the night-time."
"That was the curious incident," remarked Sherlock Holmes.

I have to confess that, while it continues to be interesting and entertaining to read about Holmes' deduction skills and his ever-flourishing ability to get himself into some kind of trouble, I couldn't quite hold as strong an interest for most stories as in the previous books. Honestly, I found them rather a too similar to the previous stories (if not in content then in structure/format).

Most stories I read with only a medium amount of interest and only the final two stories I found myself actually engaged with. Obviously, I couldn't resist Moriarty, but The Naval Treaty was quite clever, too. Sadly, even those two stories were not able not change the fact that this collection was more of a disappointment than the previous ones.

Maybe I've read too much Sherlock Holmes too quickly. I wasn't as excited about Memoirs as I expected to be. But it's still Sherlock and still awesome. 3.5 stars if I figure how to do the half stars. Rounding down because I'm harsher on series I love.

A few felt a bit short, like the ones that solely consisted of Sherlock relating a case to Watson rather than actually solving, but I still liked it overall

I love Sherlock Holmes stories, and I particularly love the anthologies of short stories presented by Dr. Watson. They are all gripping and give the reader all of the clues necessary to work out the puzzle, alas it is a very rare occurrence when my powers match up to that of Sherlock! Each story is beautifully crafted and I never want these collections to end. Read them all!
