Fast paced, and perhaps more frantic than funny. A light, enjoyable read, but nothing more than that.

Although I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book....it wasn't my favorite of Janet Evanovich's books.

The story was good and flowed nicely but I just wasted grabbing my attention like I was hoping. The main characters were all likeable and I could totally relate to the main character Barnaby, aka Alex...she is a strong, stubborn woman who doesn't take any crap from men. I will be reading the other books in the series to see if they can grab my attention.

Happy Reading!!

This book was my introduction to Janet Evanovich and I loved it. After that, I started reading my way through her books. This book had me laughing out loud and was thoroughly entertaining.

It's been a while since I read this book, but I remember liking the characters pretty well but thinking the action was a bit random and overly silly to a point that it wasn't enjoyable anymore. That said, the characters kept me around to the finish.
