I enjoyed it but I didn't love it.

I'm a little sad because I feel like the series has declined but they are very easy to read and enjoyable books (except, in my opinion, "the penalty box" which I hated)

My ranking:
  1. puck me secretly (#1) (read in 2023)
  2. home game (#2)
  3. high risk rookie (#4)
  4. hook my heart (#1.5) (read in 2023)
  5. the penalty box (#3)

I absolutely love this series! High Risk Rookie is another great rollercoaster of a story, with all the best drama you can expect by now in these books. There was so much happening but it was the perfect balance between stress and swoon, between wtf and omg! I felt so much for Krista and everything she was dealing with with her family, and I’m so happy for her that Levi is in her corner. I was talking to my book several times trying to convince her that her family was in the wrong, not her!
