Cute, quick read. Interesting for children not from the States to read, so opens up for a lot of background conversation.

I read this to my kids. It is quite outdated. Yet, it is a nice humorous story, which both the kids and I enjoyed.

I love a good old classic story.
This little 100 page book would get you out of a reading slump. I loved the whole book.
I bought this book because of the movie that came out some years ago, and I loved both the book and the movie so much.
This book was cute and funny, Jim Carrey was such a good actor to play Mr. Popper.
Would round this book up to 4.5 stars.

A fun little story about a man who wanted to be an explorer but is a house painter, and gets sent a penguin by admiral Drake. Some rather dated gender stereotypes.
