Not the greatest, and I definitely would have preferred the story in these three volumes to be told in a novel format rather than graphic novel format. Still, it's nice to get the story of Graystripe after he was captured. I didn't go in expecting much from these and wasn't surprised by them at all.

We were working on a "Tales & Tails" Summer Reading Program over at the library so I picked up some of Erin Hunter's Warriors series. I read the first novel Into the Void, then picked up this three-volume manga series.
The book was a little too serious for my taste, but I had a pretty good time with the manga. Basically a wild cat and a house cat (or "kittypet" as they are called) opt to hit the streets and returns to the Warriors home in the forest. The story is pretty straightforward they have highs and lows, they save a group of barn cats and then continue on in their quest. It's written by regular comic book writer Dan Jolley, and he does a nice job of adapting the series. I probably wouldn't read more, but this was a fun little excursion nonetheless.
We discussed it for the library podcast too. https://soundcloud.com/allthebooks/tails-tales-erin-hunters-warriors

I loved seeing Graystripe finally find the clans, but the jealousy bit with Millie bugged me.

This was so good! These mangas are actually a lot better than I was expecting and I’m loving them!

Not as good as the first two in the trilogy, but still a nice ending.
Looks like it might potentially lead to the beginning of [b:Shattered Peace|6251471|Shattered Peace (Warriors Manga Ravenpaw's Path, #1)|Erin Hunter|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1348900469l/6251471._SX50_.jpg|6434362] (Ravenpaw's Path).
This trilogy has definitely made me fall in love with Graystripe's and Millie's characters, so much so that I just named my new cat Mille!

I love that this series made short stories in the graphic novel style.
