I've enjoyed all of the books in this series!
This one is about a witch and a wolf shifter. There is a second chance romance which I love cause this one was a bit hidden.
There was a lot of conflict since Faelyn the witch accidentally pulled some magic into herself and now she's being claimed by the wolf king but he's kind of a tyrant. She's more drawn to his knight Evander. She's definitely not following the rules and keeps getting in trouble. But she's a powerful witch so she can hold her own.
I enjoyed their back stories and this interesting world and forest they lived in. The desperate attempts to keep their hidden love and escape were great and that ending. Loved how they were still able to have a family.

Tropes:
✨Romantasy
🏞️Falling in Love with Knight/Protector
✨Second-Chance Romance
🏞️Secret Romance
✨Witches
🏞️Wolf Shifters
✨Deep Female Friendships
🏞️Forced Proximity
✨"You Came/You Called"
🏞️Inspired by Little Red Riding Hood

This series is such a comfort read for me, and A Dawn with the Wolf Knight is no exception. This isn’t my favorite of the series, but it’s still a very welcome addition. I’m so sad to have the series coming to an end because I love this world.

Heavy on the Little Red Riding Hood x Howl’s Moving Castle vibes.
