In an effort to be more “well-read,” I’m going to read at least 10 classic books this year. They can range from classic novels, short stories and collections, poems and collections, nonfiction works, and so on. What classifies as a classic to you can vary based on where you’re from, what languages you read in, what genres you read, etc. I just want to be able to understand when people make literary references. 

For those that can read a lot of books in a year, I’ve added 10 bonus prompts if you want more of a challenge.

I’m really excited to see what people consider classics and hope it’ll give us all ideas on new books to check out.
