- Remember there are Tamil people settled all around the world, not just India or from the Indian diaspora! Try to read a geographically diverse range of Tamil voices.
- Try to pick books that are OwnVoices, even for prompts where it is not specified. OwnVoices, as defined by writer Corinne Duyvis, refers to writing wherein an author and the protagonist share the same marginalized identity.
