Almost every month in the US, one group is celebrated with a national heritage month or a pride month. To observe these this year, I want to read a book for each group to learn more about the community from someone within that community. Some months have several groups that are celebrated and some have none so I may have shuffled a few around  My hope is for this to expand my understanding and my empathy for their experiences.
