There are tons of book challenges on the internet and social media.  As an attorney and realtor, reading is my escape from the daily grind (along with yoga)!   I started this challenge to celebrate melanated authors and quite honestly, to improve my black card stats!  So, unlike most, if not all of the other book challenges out there, Black Card Book Challenge focuses on books written by black authors.  

The goal is twofold:  

1. To get you out of your reading comfort zone; and
2. To introduce and highlight black authors!
