You can start and finish this challenge whenever you like!
Welcome to the Star Wars The Clone Wars (2008 Version) Junior Episode & Movie Chapter Book Novelizations Challenge! This challenge is created by @justthatstarwarsbookgirl on StoryGraph and @justthatstarwarsgirl on Instagram. I’d appreciate it if you’d drop a friend request and/or follow on StoryGraph if you’d like, all will be accepted, as well as a follow on Instagram! I’ve worked hard to attempt to make this challenge as thorough as possible, so I really hope you all will enjoy participating. The challenge itself will have no time limit, and once posted, will not be taken down. This is my Star Wars The Clone Wars (2008 Version) Junior Episode & Movie Chapter Book Novelizations Challenge, spanning books taking place during The Clone Wars era (after Star Wars: Episode 1: The Phantom Menace and directly after Star Wars: Episode 2: The Attack of the Clones but BEFORE Star Wars: Episode 3: The Revenge of the Sith) in the Official Star Wars “Fall of the Jedi” Era based on the 2008 Version of The Clone Wars Original Television and Disney+ Show. These books include books creating Novelizations of “The Clone Wars” 2008 Official Prequel Movie (in which Anakin Skywalker Meets Ahsoka Tano) adapted by Tracey West, and 6 other books split into 3-4 Episode Adaptions Each on Average from Season 1 (“Rookies”, “Clone Cadets”, “Downfall of a Droid”, & “Lair of Grievous”, ), Season 2 (“Death Trap”, “R2 Come Home”, & “Lethal Trackdown”,) Season 3 (“ARC Troopers”), Season 4 (“Water War”, “Gungan Attack,” & “Prisoners”), & Season 5 (“Revival”, “Eminence”, “Shades of Reason”, and “The Lawless”). Authors of these Adaptions include multiple/various authors for some of the book’s individual stories or just one author for all of the stories in the book for others. Authors include: Tracey West (including the first book being from the Screenplay by Henry Gilroy, Scott Murphy, and Steven Melching), Veronica Wasserman, Rob Valois, & Jason Fry, with many illustrations being done by Wayne Lo for multiple books in the series. Almost every book in the Series was published by Grosset & Dunlap as far as I know, except for the last book, “Darth Maul: Shadow Conspiracy” being published by Scholastic. This Challenge can be done as a stand-alone Challenge just for The Clone Wars 2008 Junior Novelizations or can be used as the guide with my other Published Challenge, the “Star Wars Movie Junior Novelization Chapter Books”, right after the Junior Chapter Book Novelization of “Star Wars: Episode 2: The Attack of the Clones” by Patricia C. Wrede as instructed in the prior mentioned Challenge to complete the bonus prompt. Also in this challenge included as Bonus Books are the Star Wars: The Clone Wars Secret Missions Original Chapter Book Junior Novels by Ryder Windham. All Novels ARE in Canon Chronological Timeline Reading Order according to the Star Wars reference site Wookieepedia. This explains why the entire Star Wars: The Clone Wars Secret Missions Series takes place in between/smack dab right in the middle of The Clone Wars (2008 Version) Junior Novelization Chapter Books Series after the very first book of that series (The Clone Wars 2008 Movie Novelization) and the rest of The Clone Wars Junior Novelization Chapter Book Series picks up directly after The Clone Wars Secret Missions Series beginning again with “Star Wars: The Clone Wars Junior Episode Novelizations #2: Grievous Attacks!”. If you’d like to read the Clone Wars Junior Chapter Book Episode Novelizations as a whole series straight through, skip the Clone Wars Secret Missions books, or pick them up to read them perhaps after or even before reading The Clone Wars Junior Episode Novelizations. Each book’s notes below will also contain information such as the publication year, author, page count, the year the book occurs in timeline order, and whether the book is Legends or Canon in the Star Wars Universe. I plan on creating multiple Star Wars-related Reading/Book Challenges on StoryGraph both for the use of my Instagram Followers and StoryGraph users and friends in the future as well, so definitely keep an eye out for newly released Challenges as they come out on the StoryGraph App!! Also, I have created my own individual editions that have complete information including Publication Date, Cover, Language, Accurate Page Count, Authors, Publishers, Formats, and Illustrators/Contributors as accurate as possible for my personal editions for Numbers 2-4 of The Star Wars: The Clone Wars Secret Missions Series and for Numbers 2-4 so far of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars Junior Episode Novelizations Chapter Books in that Series, if you’d like to personally use them if they’re accurate to your editions feel free. I truly and sincerely hope you, as a reader, will enjoy this Star Wars The Clone Wars (2008 Version) Junior Episode & Movie Chapter Book Novelizations Challenge, and hopefully many of the other Star Wars Challenges I plan on creating, from one Star Wars fan and reader to another!
