This is a TOP TIER romance!! I foam at the mouth for the soulmate troupe and I’ve only ever previously read it in werewolf books. The execution of the soulmate troupe in this book was creative and beautiful. I absolutely loved Quinn and Nick, both individually and as a couple, which I feel like is hard to pull off for writers.

Their love is very pure and you can really see how much they care for and respect one another.

It’s hard to judge one book without the other, but for this book I definitely think too much time is spent with Quinn still engaged. She should’ve left him a lot earlier and led to a lot of pointless filler because we all know they’re going to break up at some point or another.

This was a really good first-half to the duality and one of my favorite romance novels of this year.
