Next Year in Havana by Chanel Cleeton
4.0
The writing in this was phenomenal. To the point where the many troupes and choices in the book which I normally hate, could be overlooked. I'm not a fan of dual first person perspective, or the love at first sight troupe , and rarely rrad historical fiction, and yet I am a fan of this book!
Despite the predictability I was fully engaged in learning more about this story. I think a big part was my longing to return to Cuba, and therefore loving every second reading about it, but Chanel Cleeton really brought it to life.
