The Love Theorem by Camilla Isley
4.0
My rating is between 3.5-4 stars. This is the first rom com I've enjoyed in a while. The premise is a female scientist and celebrity unexpectedly cross paths in a hotel closet. She has no idea he's a celebrity and it goes from there. He tries to keep his identity a secret as long as he can because he loves that she likes him for him instead of because he's rich and famous. This obviously goes spectacularly. The rest of the book once she discovers his real identity is focused on them as a couple navigating the combination of their two different worlds. I thought it was a really cute, quick read. I loved that there was talk of females in STEM. The side characters didn't add much but I think that helped keep the focused on the two main characters and their love story. Would recommend if you want something lighter and fun to read. Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
