Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens
5.0
One of the best books I've read this year. The story was intriguing. The characters were multi-faceted and easy to connect with. I found myself wanting more when I reached the end.
One of the things I enjoyed most was how well Kya's thoughts and feelings were portrayed. I could feel her sense of not belonging and loneliness. The writing never made it seem like she felt she was completely isolated or alone. It spoke of a sense of loneliness without invoking a sense of dread or despair.
