okay i totally get the hype 

THIS WAS SO FUN! well most of it at least. 

for someone who doesn’t read a ton of fantasy, this was very easy to get into and to stay engaged in. i was worried that it would get confusing for me but it never did. also the romance aspect was soo good! Xaden and Violet’s chemistry and tension was everything that i hoped it would be. that man is soooo obsessed with her, we love it. i definitely got very anxious during some parts, but overall i had a good ass time and im very much looking forward to book 2
