Honestly speaking, I really have high hopes for this fantasy romance novel. The first few chapters were really promising, especially the characters, and I was really looking forward to it.

Sad to say, everything really did turn to 360 degrees.

The first thing I noticed was the characters. I really like strong female characters, and unfortunately, this book really tried to give off these aspects, but it did not. Not to mention the writing. Feels really rough for me.

Lena, who, especially her regard towards her people— sounds promising, but as it goes on, she becomes a character who just doesn't have a solid agent and whatsoever but her characters seemed to do one thing but be immature and angry at everything else. It was annoying. The same goes for her sister, Ayla. Don't like them.

Hope and Nina, I'm still looking forward to them. They just need more development.

The men here. I'm so sorry. They were pathetic 🙈 I also did high hopes for them.

Didn't even care for the romance and the steam here tbh.

Overall, the only thing I liked in this novel is the magic system. Nothing more and nothing else.

Thank you to the author for the e-arc.
