This book is not fro my typical genres, but it was gifted to me and I thought I would give it a go. It turns out I can not relate to the FMC, and there's too much patriarchal nonsense that I know speaks to the era, but is just a turn off for me. At this point I can not find anything I may learn from reading this, and nothing I find intriguing. I don'[t often DNF a book, but I think 35% is a decent chance and I'm going to move on with my tbr.
