The Case for Heaven: A Journalist Investigates Evidence for Life After Death by Lee Strobel

medium-paced

1.0

Despite the title and subtitle claiming that this will be an exploration of evidence that heaven exists, it very quickly moves past that groundwork to exploring what heaven and hell will be like, what admittance to heaven looks like after death,  and dismissal of Eastern religions. Personally, I don't think he really establishes that there is incontrovertible proof that heaven exists and I think this book falls flat of convincing someone who is open to the idea of heaven but hasn't fully embraced such a belief. It's meant for believers who want to feel good about their faith and for believers to give to friends and family members because they think it's their duty to convince them that their faith is factual (which is ultimately how this book entered my home 🙃)
