The pacing is still the thing about this manga that I dislike the most. But there's an afterward chapter at the end of Vol.3 that states the author was initially told they were only getting three volumes, so the pacing early on was breakneck, almost to a jarring point. Things are starting to mellow out in this volume, and I hope it does more as the series continues.
This volume was the ending of the battle and the fallout from that. We meet a new society of people, who intrigue me.
Aleksi takes a chance with Freya, but then gets cold feet and acts like the meaning behind it wasn't serious. I don't care for Julius very much, he's kind of a creep.
Freya meets Prince Edvard's father, who is believed to have the mind of a child, but I suspect it's an act, or there's more to it.
This series is technically a reverse harem, or a "why choose" but only a handful of them know Freya is a woman, and not the Prince, so I do wonder when or if that will be revealed to the rest of her personal guard.
