first book of 2022!!!!! and it was so good. I love this book so much. It felt so good to be back in this world. I love sera and nyktos they are my new favourite book couple. they are perfect. my heart broke with sera betrayed nyktos.
I felt that it was similar to from blood and ash as in that both of the love interests are someone else and that both poppy and sera stab their love interests. it's more that the relationship is kinda similar rather than the plot (from what I remember). They are they're own story.
I did protect some of the plot twists thought. I did guess that Ash was nyktos and the sera was sotoria.
Overall it was a great first read of 2022.
