Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo
5.0
Phenomenal. I cannot sing this book's praises enough and I don't think anyone ever could. I cried, I laughed, I cooed, I gagged, I shouted. Bargudo took me through all the emotions the human body can experience and I don't know whether to curse her or thank her for it.
The characters were well flushed-out anf each chapter was so rife with action and information; even more so than the first book. The writing was really good as well; knowing when to scrap poetic and beautifully-used linguistic techniques for simpler sentences and a quicker pace. Truly an amazing work of art.
