I fully enjoyed this book. HATED anything to do with the spider, especially the scene in the basement 🤢🤢. But otherwise, the plot was easy. The characters were stupid but fun, and the writing wasn't terrible. Have I read better? Of course, but I've also read worse. I did get annoyed with Olivia constantly enticing Malachai and then pulling then "we are brother and sister" card to get him to stop, but like girl, shut up, you wanted him. It got tiresome. I am very intrigued for the 2nd book, even though I don't understand why they need a second book.
