Until I got to the last fourth of the book I was fully planning to only give it 2.5 stars. I didn’t like the characters and the writing just wasn’t it for me. I ended up changing to 3 stars because the ending and the closure that the characters got was amazing. I liked the development that happened in just this small section of the book. I don’t typically like contemporary very much and this wasn’t my absolute favorite book but I did enjoy it and I’d definitely recommend it.
