The Dress Shop on King Street by Ashley Clark
4.0
Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ & 1/4 (4.25 stars)
Read: January 2024
Format: Kindle e-Book
Challenge Prompt: CNL’s #11 of 50 — “An author’s debut book” AND EOW’s “southern-based book” for the “read anytime in 2024” option
BOOK 7 of 2024: I have this complete series and the novellas that go with it. I was way overdue in starting this novel.
I appreciate how the author weaves all the time periods together, along with the growth and the lessons the various characters learn. Many hard decisions are made during difficult times. Their journeys to faith are inspiring.
From the beautiful and poignant cover to the significance of the buttons—and everything in between—love triumphs.
