This book was my first dive into the world of Brittainy Cherry and the story of Alex and Yara is SUCH a surprisingly sweet one! Even though these two start off as enemies, they find that their tension-filled banter causes nothing but sparks between them.
I love how Yara encouraged Alex to continue to be himself throughout the book and managed to work her way past his prickly exterior. And Alex is the gruffest gentleman I’ve ever read
