We'll Never Be Apart by Emiko Jean

3.0

Honestly, at first I thought it was quite boring. And with a ton of swear words. I mean, I get it, it's a teen book, but it's just too much. But the ending shocked me. I guess I should've seen it coming, but it's a not-bad plot twist. I liked the book. The author portrays mental illness through the eyes of the patient and it kind of shifts my perception a little. I loved how Alice finally decides to get better in the end and she realises Dr Goodman is not that bad of a man. I didn't like Chase at first but he turned out okay, and I felt glad that Alice has him to support her progress. Quite good.
