UniverSoul Reflections by Peter Mutanda
5.0
UniverSoul Reflections is a collection of over 100 poems. The majority explore global politics, racism and the way people treat each other, and also includes a few love poems for good measure. It is a thought provoking collection, highlighting the plight of people who have had a less fortunate start in life than I have and I will never look at the world in the same way again.
I highly recommend this book to any student of the human race and culture – you WILL find a favourite poem that will stay with you. I have a few: I could relate to 'Have I Failed?, was brought to tears by Promise (What Goes Up Must Come Down) and was shocked by Oluwale David (Murdered by Leeds Police in 1969). Read it – it will change your view of the world.
