The Good House by Tananarive Due

Definitely an interesting story. I wasn't as intrigued by the characters as I wish I had been, but the book was definitely able to build up a growing sense of dread. You spend a lot of time thinking, "No, don't do that!" or knowing that something terrible is coming at them without their knowing. So it definitely sucked me in, though it probably suffered from coming right after Broken Harbor, for me, since that seemed like such a great ghost story even though it wasn't.
