The Well of Ascension by Brandon Sanderson
5.0
"I don't know," Elend finally said, sitting back in his chair, sighing. "Vin isn't...like other women."
Tindwyl raised an eyebrow, her voice softening slightly. "I think that the more women you come to know, Your Majesty, the more you'll find that statement applies to all of them."
— The Well of Ascension
I would've given this book five stars for the above lines alone, but this was another spectacular story with an absolutely amazing and perfect ending that completely rewarded my perseverance through these 796 pages. Even if I still do still think Elend Venture's personality is as plain as the Ann on Nose's face.
