The Six by Anni Taylor
4.0
3.5 stars truly. good storyline but it took like 300 pages for anything to actually happen. a lot of build up and it makes sense because you needed a scene to be set for the whirlwind of things that happened back to back. in no way shape or form did this book need to be this long.
the twist was crazy, I found myself actually gasping out loud. But I feel like the book could have been much shorter and gotten the same thrill across.
Overall, wild story and I just can't put my finger on it but it reminds me of another book or show I have seen at some point.
Also gave a bit of Epstein's Island vibes.
Interesting for sure. Whiplash from all the reveals at the end.
If you like a slow burn with chaos in the end, this is for you.
