Youngblood is a book about the hottest, richest, most popular guy in vampire school falling for a girl and that girl going nah I want that butch weirdo in the corner instead and that my friends is possibly the best way to write this story

A lot of YA makes me feel old but this one made me feel like a kid again. I smiled throughout reading this because it is exactly the catty dramatic teen vampire romance the baby gays deserve okay. I wish I had this as a teen, I would've worn the spine through rereading it. It's baby butch x "I'm just a really devoted ally" which feels so sweet and true to life, ALSO they're ex best friends AND roommates, there is no better setup than that.
