The Family Next Door by Fiona Cummins
3.0
This was a suspenseful novel about people who keep turning up dead, the only signs of trauma are their eyes cut out and replaced with glass eyes.
Garrick and Olivia Lockwood are in need of a change, and can't afford much, so they purchase a home on the edge of the woods where the bodies were found. Sadly, this house is too close to the danger, and Olivia changes everything one night when she falls in the woods.
Insp. Wildeve's husband, Adam Stanton, is a victim of the killer, and Wild is desperate for answers. As she investigates the case against the wishes of her superiors, she stumbles onto some sinister secrets. The ending may surprise you.
I would have rated it higher, but the storyline was a bit confusing for me.
