I was pleasantly surprised with this one!
I loved the high stakes while following Violet through training to become a dragon rider. Her grit makes you love her more and want to root for her!
Since I'm not very imaginative, there were some details and scenes that I didn't really get but the book was still a great time. I loved all the tests, twists, adventure, and romance! The unpredictability was a lot of fun and kept me on my toes.
From the beginning, I couldn't help but root for the enemies-to-lovers trope and needed to see how it all played out. Super fun and can't wait for more about these characters.
