The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

5.0

I don't remember the last time I cried so hard over a book. There were parts where I wasn't sure whethee this was going to be a 5 or a 4 star book. I never really cared for Monique's story, somehow, I always wanred to hear about Evelyn, but then it was also so interesting to watch her grow. I didn't see the twist coming in the end. I loved Evelyn. See seemed much more real than Daisy from Daisy Jones and the Six, much more like a real person. Although I'm probably never going to be the tiniest bit like her, I understood and respected her decisions and I liked her as a person. I loved her relationship with Celia, and the one with Harry, and the one with her daughter, Carter. I sobbed, especially when Carter died.
