~ Reread for My Local Library's Book to Movie Themed Challenge for November ~
I read Pride and Prejudice back in 2020 and hadn't reviewed it, so I thought I'd do a reread and see why I gave it a three star. I have to say my rating doesn't really change 3 years later.
This book is well written and I understand it as the classic of all classics to read for romance. But, this book is just not meant for me. I struggled to care about this story and all the high society gossip and mannerisms. Obviously, I like a male love interest falling first, and you have it here. I did like Darcy but I couldn't really stand Elizabeth until the last half of the book lol
Again, this book was just not meant for me, but some of my mutuals may love this classic if they haven't read it already!! <3
