I absolutely love this picture book series based on Anne of Green Gables. Kallie George and Genevieve Godbout bring about all the charm and joy that I associate with Anne of Green Gables in these beautifully illustrated picture books. In this picture book, Anne is excited and nervous about her first Christmas in Avonlea as she prepares for the recital at the Christmas concert. The simple yet lovely story brings about the joy of being near family, friends, and kindred spirits during the holiday season.
