Lovers to enemies to lovers? No idea but I’m here for it. This book is the definition of hurt people hurt people. We get the perspective of the MC, Li Luo who is proud, arrogant and conceited on the outside but actually is a good person. The ML, Duan Mingyang is proud, ruthless, and cold but we definitely don’t have the whole story yet. There is so much miscommunication between these two that I feel like Li Luo is most likely an unreliable narrator.

Li Luo comes from a rich family that has fallen from grace. He is a popular idol in the entertainment industry at the peak of his popularity. Duan Mingyang is the illegitimate child of a rich family who has history with the Li family.

It’s hard to come up with a summary without spoilers but basically it’s the story of two exes now back in each other’s lives because of work and family drama. Angst!
