I'm Not a Psychologist But I Do Have a PHD in Motherhood: A Mother's Guide to Parenting by Norma Gindi

5.0

Norma Gindi doles out helpful advice and guidance to parenting from young to older teen. She points out that each child is different and we need to parent them accordingly rather than a one-size-fits-all. The chapters are brief with just enough advice to set you on your way back to trying again with your kids. There are a wide range of topics that she tackles. I felt renewed after reading this and will referencing this time and again.

I really love the tone the author uses, no shaming, no blaming and the reading is relatable. She talks about balance, patience, not giving in, building self-esteem, positive outlooks as foundations for healthy relationships with your children.
