Danny is the local sheriff and is lonely as his friends marry. He goes to have dinner that sets him up to be in the perfect place at the right time for help out an old friend and crush. Skyler is running away from an abusive boyfriend and just happens to park next to Danny. With the help of old friends and the town they protect Skyler from on of the most powerful families in Texas.
