This one was a huge miss for me.

Honestly, there were a lot of things about the writing that didn’t do it for me. For one, the dialogue was really poorly written. It was really unnatural. The characters did too much explaining of their actions to make up for the things the author wanted us to know. They had conversations they wouldn’t have had and said weird things at awkward times.

There were also A LOT of liberties taken with the plot here too. Just a lot of things that weren’t really believable.

I also didn’t appreciate the way the author described the handicapped character in the book, but that’s an argument for another day.

For me, this just wasn’t written well, there were plot holes, and I really just wanted it finished so I could be done with it.
