Star of the North by D.B. John

What. A. Read. This has earned its place on my favourite shelf.

It’s refreshing, well-written and a proper unpredictable thriller. I’m fascinated (not in the positive sense) about North Korea and how it just simply detaches itself from the rest of the world and this story satisfies my curiosity, and then some.

Even though this is fiction, it has a real non-fiction vibe to it.

It’s my favourite fiction read thus far of 2018, and it’s a must-read. Hoping for a Part 2 and perhaps even a film… ?
