This is a stellar picturebook. Ilustrajo uses a simple concept (the increasing flooding of a city) as a metaphor for any number of problems in society that could be fixed if we only took action together. The illustrations on each spread are highly detailed, allowing for new discoveries during each rereading. Ilustrajo's limited color palette helps to emphasize the problem (the blue water) and highlight the protagonist (a Lorax-esque monkey with a yellow tail) in the grayscale illustrations
