Loooord, was this right up my alley! Fairies, strong heroines, evil queens, general oppression and fights to survive. You know, your average day. Seriously, I loved this book, right from hot shape shifting faery lord hero Tamlin to human heroine Feyre. Heck, I even loved Rhys, who appears to be very bad for most of the novel. This book felt very Beauty and the Beast for the first half or so (which is never a bad thing in my book) but it truly became its own gorgeous story toward the end.
