Trip Alexander is much more than the party boy we thought he was after Fearless. In fact, I didn't even realize that this was the same Trip until the last third of the book. I don't know why, but even the names Debbie, Blake, and Hana didn't clue me in. Looking back, I can't believe I didn't make that connection beforehand. But, it just goes to show how much of a different person Trip Alexander really is from our first introduction to him.

Gianna Rossi is a struggling ballerina from Italy. Despite her innocence, she knows things. After her ballet company shut down, she began working as a burlesque dancer, going by the name 'Glitter Girl.' As a very Italian, former ballet dancer, I immediately felt connected to her. Not to mention my love of the movie Burlesque and just overall admiration of pretty much anything dance related.

Both Trip and Gia are hiding secrets about their lives from each other. Gia's alter ego captures Trip's attention the first time he sees her perform onstage. Did I mention he is the owner of the club? Glitter Girl is his employee, but he has no idea that it's the same Gia that ran away from him on their first date.
