Lady Killer, Volume 1 by Joëlle Jones

5.0

I found these comics at my local library today, and I pretty much fell in love just by the cover. I was a bit shocked that I had never heard of these before considering these are right up my alley. Plus Joelle Jones has been an artist in some of my favorite series.

But this is a such a classic indie comic that more people need to read or even hear about considering how fantastic it was. The art style was sharp and bloody but as soft as she was. Josie Schuller hasn't become a household name in terms of comic book characters yet which is such a shame since these came out in 2015.

I am quite excited to see where this story goes in terms of lore, which was a big lack of in this story. I haven't read the second vol yet, but that came out last year with the headline as 'The Lady Killer Is Back!' So I do hope we see more of her, and her killing habits.
