final thoughts: broody goalies and sunshine girls are my favorite! This was my first Ana Shay book, and I loved it. The storyline was great, easy to read, and FULLLLLL of angst.
Even though this was the first of the Covey Crushers series, there are characters and world building from the other series that take place at Covey U. I felt like there were a great deal of plot holes that kept taking me out of the story and were never answered. I'm eager to read the rest of the series to fill them! The characters are so interesting and funny and I'm ready to meet the rest of the team.
I recommend reading the prequel story Pucking High School: A Prequel Novella to The Draft to get more backstory for the main couple.
